Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te love. Additionally, she dances and is also a model. A Montreal resident, she was born and raised up in Texas and has been interested in performing. As a little girl she started to train in various forms of dance. When she was 15 years old, she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when she made her debut in 2008 as competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010, she was the receptionist in Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. Her first movie was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015.
